LEARN WHAT BEING CONNECTED CAN DO FOR YOUR BUSINESS

Want to know what the buzz will be about at IMTS this year? For companies staying on the leading edge of technology, a visit to the Emerging Technology Center (ETC) is in order to find out. MTConnect is a new communication protocol standard for passing data between devices, equipment, and higher level applications, and the ETC will be the best place to learn all about it.

Every day during the show, there will be multiple learning presentations in booth B-1000, including:

MTConnect Video Presentations
MTConnect Live Demonstrations
MTConnect Demonstration Kiosk
MTConnect Implementation Center

In addition, there will be University & Research Laboratory Exhibits that you can visit to learn about emerging leading edge technologies.

AMTDA's "LUNCH AT IMTS 2008"

We are pleased to offer you AMTDA's "Lunch at IMTS" program. This exclusive program allows you the opportunity for you and your customers to come down off the show floor and have a few quiet minutes to talk. Regardless of whether it is about business or baseball, the ability for you to have some direct face time over a meal other than a slice of pizza or a hamburger can enhance the entire show for both your salespeople and your customers. AMTDA will provide lunch as a buffet style entrée, side and salad/vegetable, along with iced tea and water. We will have open seating available in two rooms. Tables may be reserved in advance on a first-come first-served basis.

The cost per plate for AMTDA and AMT member companies is $39 for pre-registered meals, and $45 for meals purchased 'at the door'. Non AMTDA and AMT member companies pricing is $45 for pre-registered meals and $51 for 'at the door' meals. Table reservations are $1,000 for the week per table. Please contact Joshua Caulfield at AMTDA directly at 301-738-1200, if you would like to reserve a table. Or visit our on-line form.

Take a moment now to consider the number of meals you will need for your staff, customers and invited guests, and fill in the appropriate numbers for each box in the Registration Form. If you need to adjust these numbers later on, you may do so up to September 3rd. At this time, AMTDA will provide guarantees to the catering company. There will be no refunds for cancellations after this deadline and additions will be subject to the 'at the door' price. After this deadline, meals will not be able to be transferred from one date to another.

NEED A STARBUCKS? WHAT ABOUT A BUSINESS CENTER?

We know that when you get to the show, some people need a coffee, some people need a beer, and some people really need to get something printed out in color. McCormick Place is like a mini-city, and we've put together a few pages on the web site that can help you find what you are looking for. The same information will be available with walking directions on the 50+ IMTS myMap Kiosks located around the show floor.

Want to know what to expect at IMTS 2008? Watch IMTSTV NOW!! Spend a few minutes watching the short video clips on the site and you'll know what's happening.

Once you get to Chicago, watch IMTSTV live! Daily broadcasts hosted by Emilie Barta will originate on-site from the IMTSTV Studio keeping both exhibitors and attendees informed about the exciting events that are taking place throughout the show.
